What you can do:
You can attend the monthly business meetings,
where practical matters, administration and matters arising from correspondence
are discussed, planned and dealt with (it is not necessary to be an executive
member); these are held in the Maffra Sugar Beet Museum, McMahon Drive, Maffra on
the second Monday of
each month except January, at 7.30pm
You can participate in the
regular research and archive access sessions held every Monday afternoon in the
Maffra Library from 1.00pm; this is a perfect opportunity to continue your own
family history research
You can use the Museum's archives held at the Maffra Library during normal library opening hours
You can assist
in the running of the Museum or at the occasional working bee (volunteer
insurance provided for members)
You can join
us on our occasional excursions
You can share with others
your local knowledge
