Maffra Veterinary Centre has grown from a single person practice in the 1930s to its current two practices comprising 10 veterinarians to support the Sale and Maffra towns and surrounding areas.
     Our goal is to provide high quality veterinary care for our companion, production, pleasure and racing animals.
     Our veterinarians have a diverse range of interests and expertise such that we are able to provide high quality veterinary services to a wide range of clients.  While the practices were initially grown by servicing the farming sector, the growing number of companion animals and horses necessitated the development of services and expertise in these areas.
     There are now three veterinarians employed full time looking after companion animals with a large base of knowledge and skills.  We have developed a range of diagnostic and other equipment to help us provide a premium service to our companion animal clients.
     In the near future we will be opening a hospital facility for horses in order to fill an area demand for further quality veterinary care in our region.  Many of our current veterinarians have interests in equine medicine, surgery and reproduction.
